We have all been working hard to get Rockport up and running again and have made some amazing achievements. Unfortunately the damage from Hurricane Harvey is still prevalent in the fishing piers in Rockport. Texas Parks and Wildlife released that the Copano Bay Fishing Pier will not be rebuilt due to severe structural damages. The Fulton Fishing Pier will be rebuilt, but there is no timeline as of now. You can still fish at the Rockport Harbor and at the Water St. & Market St. intersection on concrete breakwaters. There is also an open fishing pier at the Rockport Beach that’s open from 7am to 11pm. A day pass is 5 dollars and a year pass is 20 dollars. Follow Rockport Beach on Facebook for more information!

A few of our vacation homes still have piers, including: Lucky Strike, Frisco Flats, Pelican Point, and Coastal Oasis. The others may be being worked on. Despite the lack of fishing piers in Rockport, fishing has been amazing! Dawn caught 60 trout at Frisco Flats last weekend, and 5 were keepers! The people staying at Pelican point had a similar experience. Guides have also reported catching huge flounder!

Don’t miss out on the awesome fishing and book a waterfront house today! Lucky Strike is a large 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home with a private 270 fishing pier. There are two 1,000 watt sport fishing lights that are sure to attract the fish. This house also has a private fishing pier overlooking Copano Bay. Frisco Flats is almost through with repairs and is in the process of being furnished and will be listed during the next few weeks. Visit our website at http://www.rockporthomerentals.com for updates on new houses and new piers.
