Seafair Festival

The 44th annual Seafair festival is happening October 11-14th. With a huge parade, live music, carnival, food, shopping, and contests, this is one of our favorite festivals of the year! Tickets are ten dollars a day or twenty dollars for a weekend pass. Children 6 and under get in free.

Thursday October 11, opening night, is “Tejano Night”. Experience the opening ribbon cutting ceremony, live music, and the first night of the carnival. Friday is when the Seafair gates officially open. The kids can enjoy arts and crafts while parents can grab a drink and shop at all the market vendors. The theme is “Country Legend Night”, and the featured act is Ray Benson & Asleep at the Wheel. Saturday is “Live Music All Day!” The Seafair parade will start at 10 A.M. at City Hall and end in downtown Rockport. The cardboard boat competition is also held this day along with the Gumbo cook off and Chili cook off. The night ends with the performance of the Spazmatics. Sunday is “Aransas County Resident Appreciation Day” with a salsa contest, dessert baking contest, and crab races, this will be an epic end to a great weekend.
