Fourth of July Fun!

The Fourth of July is one of the best times to experience Rockport! Warm weather, relaxing beaches, great fishing, and of course fireworks! Make some of your best family memories this Fourth of July. There’s plenty to do in Rockport for kids and adults, and the Rockport beach is one of our favorite spots in town. This is the perfect place to take the whole family for a day of fun and sun. It’s only five dollars for a day parking pass and 20 for a year pass. You can also choose to walk there and not pay anything!

There are 65 individual picnic sights with bbq grills that are great places to set up with the family. Kids will have a blast on one of the multiple themed playgrounds. They can pretend to be pirates on the playground shaped boat, or swing on one of the swing sets. The Rockport Beach is also an amazing fishing spot! You can fish almost anywhere on the beach including an 800 foot fishing pier.

This is also a great spot for boating, kayaking, and jet skiing!Little Bay is right across the street from the beach and has access to a dock and boat ramp. You also don’t want to miss the saltwater pool. This is a small section of Little Bay that is closed off just for swimmers! There are plenty of places to set up for the day there and enjoy the water and sand.

Every year for the Fourth of July we look forward to is our towns firework display! Fireworks shoot out into the sky over Little Bay from 9:15 to 10 PM. This is an event you don’t want to miss. Make sure to get out and set up early because it gets busy! House up quick this time of year, so make sure you book in advanced.
